Job Description - Colour Realism Tattooist
We’re growing and on the hunt for an exceptional and creative tattoo artist who specialises in colour to join our energised, creative team. A strong portfolio is required.
Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and preferences, providing professional advice on design and placement.
- Create custom coloured tattoo designs that align with client expectations while showcasing your artistic style.
- Give honest guidance on placement, sizing and longevity including how colour heals on different skin tones.
- Execute tattoos with precision, ensuring adherence to health and safety standards.
- Maintain a clean and organised workspace, following all hygiene protocols.
- Manage client services by providing an exceptional experience from initial consultation through to aftercare advice.
- Engage in upselling additional services or products that may enhance the client’s experience.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure a harmonious working environment.
What You Bring
- A strong portfolio of colour work, please include healed pieces and with studio experience.
- Solid fundamentals which includes linework, saturation, composition and cover-ups when needed.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients quickly.
- Up-to-date knowledge of hygiene and cross-infection control; local authority registration (or eligibility).
- Comfortable sharing your work on socials and engaging with clients online.
- Nice to have (but not essential): black & grey versatility, content creation/photography, front-of-house experience.
