The position can be hybrid, between office and home based on successful completion of training.

Salary range £25,183 - £30,060 pro-rata (Band 3-4 Career Graded Post). Appointment and progression will be based upon qualifications, experience and achieving required competency levels

Working Pattern Part Time

Working hours 29 hours per week Monday - Friday.
Phone cover 10am -3pm additional hours to be agreed
Flexible working hours

About the Role
We currently have an exciting vacancy within our Accounts Receivable team to enable us to continue to build on our success. The role is front line customer focused, dealing directly with both incoming and outgoing telephone queries in a prompt and professional manner. The objective is to efficiently and proactively collect outstanding monies owed to the Council. The role is varied and involves dealing with colleagues internally and externally alike, and will allow you to utilise your communication and negotiation skills to their full potential.


About you

You will be required to work as part of a team and together you will coordinate and prioritise the workload to ensure that all tasks are completed on time. You will deliver a professional service to our customers and will adhere to the Council’s policies and procedures. You will take ownership of certain tasks and will work to deliver on targets set whilst maintaining a high quality of work. You will be also be required to take responsibility for decisions you make and know when to seek guidance.
