Retail Shop Assistant x 2 vacancies
Location: Columbia Road, Shoreditch and Lamb's Conduit Street, Holborn London
Job Type: Four days a week
Schedule: Working across Monday to Sunday - Regular shift pattern working on a Rota basis. (Shifts will including working weekends and public holidays on a rota basis). Working day 9.30 to 5pm on average.
Hourly Rate: £13.85 per hour. We are proud members of the Living Wage Foundation.
Norfolk Natural Living are a slow-luxury, artisan brand rooted in nature, craftsmanship, and thoughtful living, we are looking for passionate Retail Shop Assistants to join our team at our flagship perfumery in Columbia Road and our new shop opening in Lamb's Conduit Street.
You will be helping to create a welcoming, sensory-led experience where story, scent, and customer connection come together. You’ll help introduce customers to our carefully crafted range, from fine perfumes and home scents to laundry and cleaning products, all carefully hand made using naturally derived ingredients at our workshop in Norfolk.
You’ll also play a hands-on role in delivering our immersive experiences from our scent services such as perfume layering consultations, to soothing hand & arm rituals and inspiring seasonal events that bring our brand to life. (Full training is provided)

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional customer service, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere that embodies our brand's values.
- Assist customers in selecting products, sharing insights about our products.
- Maintain shop cleanliness and visual merchandising to ensure a delightful shopping experience.
- Process transactions accurately, including electronic payments.
- Process delivery of stock ensuring rotation and levels maintained appropriately.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Participate in training to deepen product knowledge and improve customer engagement techniques.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Passion for providing excellent sales support .
- Previous retail experience is a plus, but a willingness to learn and a positive attitude are essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to connect with diverse customers.
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Flexibility to work a regular shift pattern that will include weekends and public holidays.
- Comfortable with computer-based tills and basic retail software
- Good technical skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly
