Established in 2004 Bravado is an independent, authentically local, Edinburgh business, specialising in lingerie, swimwear and nightwear products. Our boutique is located in Morningside, on the south side of the city.
We are looking for an experienced and committed individual to join our small team of customer service assistants. Retail experience required. What we are really looking for is a positive can-do attitude and an affinity for customer service. This isn’t big retail - we all play a part in keeping the business running, from day-to-day customer service to visual merchandising and ecommerce, the role is diverse and challenging.
Full time staff are expected to show leadership and set a high level of customer service for all colleagues to follow, with responsibilities including opening & closing the store as required and other key holder duties. A candidate with previous supervisory experience would be advantageous in this role.
To succeed you’ll need:
- A love for interacting and engaging with the public in order to create an environment where our customers feel welcomed, valued and enjoy their shopping experience.
- Flexibility. We are open 9.30am-5.30pm 6 days a week as standard, so we are looking for people who can be flexible across these retail hours. We are closed on Sundays but we are looking for a commitment to 4 full days during a typical week and the ability to cover holidays as necessary.
- Have a desire to learn all about the products and brands we sell. Product knowledge is fundamental to providing the best service you can to our clients.
- Be a team player. Being part of a small team, you’ll get the enjoyment of knowing that your hard work plays a vital part in keeping the business prospering, helping to create and maintain a happy workplace for us all.
- Self-motivation. We all play our part in keeping the business moving forward so being able to prioritise your workload whilst having the discipline to keep on top of daily tasks is essential.
The role is full time (32 hours per week) and attracts a competitive salary of £22,000 per year.
