We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Restaurant Supervisor to lead our team at Deco, located within the iconic Saltdean Lido. This unique venue features multiple catering outlets, and we need a dynamic leader to ensure smooth, high-quality operations across the board.
The ideal candidate will bring a solid background in the hospitality or restaurant industry, proven leadership capabilities, and a genuine passion for delivering outstanding food and service.
In this role, you’ll oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, while also playing a key part in the execution of weddings and events held at the venue.
Strong communication, a positive attitude, and effective collaboration across departments are essential for success in this role.
Responsibilities
- Oversee Daily Operations
Manage all aspects of the restaurant’s day-to-day operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service across all catering outlets.
Deliver ongoing training and support to ensure all staff are confident, professional, and aligned with brand standards. Promote continuous improvement and staff growth.
- Food Quality & Presentation
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure all food is prepared, presented, and delivered to the highest standards — consistently and on time.
- Customer Service Excellence
Lead by example in delivering exceptional customer service. Handle guest feedback and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Proven leadership abilities with experience in managing restaurant teams.
- Strong culinary knowledge, particularly in food preparation techniques and presentation.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with staff and customers alike.
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices in the restaurant industry.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
