Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to oversee the evening operations of our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional dining experiences. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing staff, ensuring food safety and quality, and maintaining high standards of service. The Restaurant Supervisor will play a pivotal role in creating a positive atmosphere for both guests and team members.
Duties
- Manage daily restaurant operations, including inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining food safety standards.
- Train, mentor, and evaluate team members to enhance their skills in culinary techniques and customer service.
- Ensure compliance with health regulations and food safety standards to maintain a safe dining environment.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
- Foster a positive team environment that encourages collaboration and high morale among staff.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant supervision or a similar supervisory role within the hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of food production processes, culinary techniques, and food safety regulations.
- Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and lead diverse teams effectively.
- Exceptional organisational skills with keen attention to detail in all aspects of restaurant operations.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the business needs.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
- A background in hotel management or culinary arts is advantageous but not essential.
