Job Summary
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Restaurant/Bar Staff to join our vibrant team. As a key member of our establishment, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests while preparing and serving a variety of beverages. Your ability to create a welcoming atmosphere and engage with patrons will contribute significantly to their overall experience.
Duties
- Prepare and serve Food/alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order.
- Engage with customers, taking orders and providing recommendations based on their preferences.
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately, ensuring proper billing procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with restocking supplies as needed.
- Comply with health and safety regulations, including responsible service of alcohol.
- Assist in creating a lively atmosphere through interaction with guests and participation in events or promotions.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Knowledge of various beverages, including cocktails, wines, and beers, is advantageous.
- Must be at least 18 years of age to serve alcohol in accordance with legal requirements.
