About the role:
We are a happy and hardworking team here at Jempsons and we’re looking for a Restaurant assistant to join our team. You’ll become part of our friendly Restaurant team and play a key part in welcoming customers and providing exceptional service working front of house and back of house in our busy restaurant . No previous experience required; full training will be provided. We’d love to hear from you if you have a great attitude and lots of enthusiasm.
You will receive a bespoke induction on appointment and further professional training & development opportunities are available.
What you'll be doing:
With your love of working with people, positive attitude and desire to provide an excellent service, you’ll welcome and look after every customer who visits our restaurant. Using your excellent attention to detail, you’ll ensure all signage is displayed correctly and the food served looks delicious. You will be working within a bustling atmosphere as part of passionate team, this role plays a core part in providing a fantastic experience to our customers at Jempsons.
Working predominantly front of house this role involves; serving hot food, cakes and snacks, preparing hot drinks, taking orders, table clearing and pot washing – all whilst providing exceptional service in everything you do. From time to time, you may also be required to assist the kitchen team with food prep and cleaning.
