To provide and effective recruitment service to the divisions. This includes, ensuring appropriate terms and conditions advice, retrieval of appropriate forms and employment checking for the relevant grades/posts.
Understanding and working within national guidelines, e.g. Immigration Act compliance, relevant right to work guidance, NHS Employment Checking Standards and NHS Terms and Conditions.
Using the Trac recruitment system to facilitate the recruitment process including liaison with the recruiting managers and providing guidance appropriate support relating to good practice and terms and conditions.
Providing high caliber, consistent advice and support, underpinned by sound knowledge, ensuring an efficient and effective resourcing service.
Ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are adhered to monthly and action any shortfalls or escalating any concerns as appropriate.
To be responsible for the inputting all new starters information into ESR in a consistent and timely manner.
To be responsible for the confirmation of pre-employment checks and processing applications for Honorary Contracts and Letters of Access.
To effectively utilise all workforce systems as appropriate including NHS Jobs, ESR and Trac and to agreed processes and timescales.
To be accountable for issuing contractual documentation as required using standard templates and managers instructions.
General
To be responsible for identifying any data discrepancies and taking corrective action as appropriate.
To ensure that administrative tasks and general office duties such as filing and photocopying are carried out in an efficient, timely and professional manner.
To maintain and improve general office management systems as necessary in order to provide an effective and efficient Resourcing service.
Take responsibility for own learning and development and keep up to date on all employment related issues and legislation.
Operate as an effective team member contributing and assisting other HR departments to maintain service provision where required
