Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. Shifts include week days and weekends. Please don't apply if you cant work any 5 out of 7 days. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive approach to security, excellent observational skills, and the ability to respond effectively to various situations. As a Security Officer, you will play a crucial role in preventing incidents and ensuring the safety of all individuals on the premises.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, and emergencies while following established protocols.
- Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when required for investigations or incidents.
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations for reporting purposes.
- Participate in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property.
Skills
- Proficient in conflict management techniques to handle disputes effectively.
- Strong understanding of security protocols and loss prevention strategies.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in identifying potential security threats.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
