Residential Repairs Estimator (office based)
Instant Maintenance Services have expertise and experience in all aspects of building, property maintenance and repairs. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to work for a Property Maintenance Company in Stockwell / Brixton, South London.
We are looking for an individual who is willing to get involved in all customer interactions via phone and email. This role would suit someone who has extensive building knowledge and would like to work in an office-based role.
Duties & Key Responsibilities
- Produce accurate and detailed customer quotations (tender) from information provided following site visit or desktop quotes
- Work closely with the Engineers and Estimator on the Road, gathering & exchanging information for quotes (private and B2B)
- Work close with Bookings Team, support with material purchasing and general customer support
- Ownership and pursue outstanding quotes including technical support
- Customer account management (via email & phone), mainly for regular customers & ongoing projects
- Data entry and system maintenance on customer information and costing / pricing
- Support with material orders on projects (in collaboration with on the Estimator on the Road)
- Cover Bookings team when absent (holidays etc.)
Desired experience & requirements
- Experience in the building & property maintenance industry and facilities management
- Working knowledge of costing and pricing
- Strong written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritise and happy to work in a busy environment
- Flexible and adaptable to varying workloads
- Experience working with Management software (i.e. Eworks Manager)
- Computer savvy, experience using Mac/iOS

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £30,000.00-£38,000.00 per year
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends

- Stockwell SW9 7AP: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
