We are recruiting for a general repairs & maintenance operative to join the facilities team at the 4 star Brooklands Hotel & Spa
You will be responsible for assisting the Facilities Manager with a variety of general hotel repairs, projects, painting & decorating, gardening and outside presentation and hot tub management to ensure the property is looking its best at all times. The job is fast paced and you will need to be able to think on your feet and change direction where needed as no day is the same.
You will need to be able to work on your own using your initiative and work through a task list and complete this in the time frame given.
Previous experience in a similar maintenance role in a hotel preferable or experience in property maintenance required and or a qualification in a specific trade, however full training will be given. Logical and organised approach in handling jobs and tasks. Energetic, welcoming and professional approach to guests and team members. Excellent communication skills with good standards of literacy.
As this is a seven day per week operation, a degree of flexibility is required to cover weekends, bank holidays early morning and evenings. 40 hour a week contract.

Pay: £29,000.00 per year
