Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Renderer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to work effectively across various tasks. This role is essential for ensuring high-quality finishes and structural integrity in our projects. The Renderer will be responsible for applying rendering materials, as well as performing related construction tasks as needed.
Duties
- Apply rendering materials to surfaces, ensuring a smooth and uniform finish.
- Perform roofing tasks, including installation and repair of roofing systems.
- Execute plumbing duties, including installation and maintenance of piping systems.
- Carry out welding tasks for metal components as required.
- Utilise electrical experience to assist with installations and repairs of electrical systems.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively in various construction tasks.
- Engage in carpentry work, including framing, fitting, and finishing wood structures.
- Read and interpret schematics to ensure accurate execution of designs.
- Conduct plastering activities to achieve desired surface finishes.
- Participate in fabrication processes for custom components as needed.
- Perform masonry work, including bricklaying and stonework, ensuring structural stability.
- Assist with construction painting to provide aesthetic finishes on surfaces.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in a construction-related field with a focus on rendering or similar skills.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools relevant to the trade.
- Strong knowledge of roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, fabrication, carpentry, masonry, and construction painting techniques.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and schematics.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
