We are seeking a Farm Assistant to assist in the day to day running of multiple broiler farms located in the UK with a predominant presence in Yorkshire and Lincolnshire, working as part of a team and supporting multiple Farm Managers.
Responsibilities:
- Making sure welfare of birds is adhered to at all times
- Day to day observation, walking, weighing of birds
- Maintaining Biosecurity and cleanliness at all times
- Maintain up to date records according to red tractor scheme
- Willingness to participate in continual training
Skills and Experience:
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Poultry Production (would be advantageous but not essential)
- Experience in working with poultry or livestock (desirable but not essential as full training will be given)
- Attention to detail
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently
-Driving Licence essential
