Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Relief Cleaner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in commercial cleaning and a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in various environments. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming, safe, and well-maintained for all occupants.
Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including offices, restrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces.
- Use appropriate cleaning products and equipment to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Dust, mop, vacuum, and sanitise surfaces as required.
- Dispose of waste materials in accordance with health and safety regulations.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management team promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure consistency in service delivery.
- Maintain an organised stock of cleaning supplies and report shortages as necessary.
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Good time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations related to cleaning practices.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may involve lifting or standing for extended periods.
