Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Loader to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient loading and unloading of goods within our facility. This position requires physical stamina and a keen understanding of mechanical operations to facilitate smooth logistics processes.
Responsibilities
- Load and unload materials and products from delivery vehicles, ensuring safe handling at all times.
- Inspect loads for accuracy and ensure they are secured properly for transport.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to optimise loading schedules and improve workflow efficiency.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred but not essential.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the shift is required.
- A proactive attitude towards teamwork and problem-solving is essential for success in this role.
