Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and knowledgeable REFORMER Pilates Instructor to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pilates and a commitment to educating clients on the benefits of this form of exercise. As a Pilates Instructor, you will lead classes, provide personalised instruction, and create an inclusive environment that encourages participants to achieve their fitness goals.
Duties
- Conduct engaging and effective Pilates classes for individuals and groups of varying skill levels.
- Educate clients on proper techniques, body alignment, and the principles of Pilates.
- Develop tailored workout plans that cater to the specific needs and goals of clients.
- Provide modifications and progressions to ensure all participants can safely engage in the exercises.
- Maintain a clean and organised studio environment, ensuring all equipment is in good condition.
- Stay updated on industry trends, new techniques, and continuing education opportunities to enhance your teaching skills.
- Foster a supportive community atmosphere that motivates clients to reach their fitness objectives.
Qualifications
- Qualification in both mat and reformer pilates level 3
- Strong knowledge of anatomy and body mechanics as they relate to Pilates exercises.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate clients effectively.
- Background in sports coaching is advantageous but not essential.
- Certification in Pilates instruction from a recognised organisation is preferred.
- A passion for health and fitness with a commitment to ongoing professional development.
