Aspect Housing is looking for enthusiastic individuals to join them as Referrals administrators. You will be the first point of contact for individuals making a referral to, or enquiries of, our Supported Accommodations projects. This key role is fundamental to ensuring a high-quality response to callers, 24 hours per day, 365 days of the year, in a fast-paced environment.
As a Referrals Administrator, you will be responsible for responding to referrals made online, via email, and through our office landline. Your role will involve assessing eligibility for our service. Additionally, you will need to work with Excel spreadsheets to check the available properties for different service user needs and create a waiting list if necessary. You will also be required to gather feedback from service users who have moved on. It will be your responsibility to establish external partnerships with Referral Agencies and aim to increase service take-up rates. This position will involve identifying new partners and stakeholders who can refer individuals to Aspect Housing. You will also be responsible for creating and managing marketing strategies to increase Aspect's presence within the Housing Sector.
To join us as a Referrals Administrator, you will need to be highly skilled in customer service, and administration, and be adept at eliciting relevant information from potential service users who may present in a state of trauma. Additionally, you will need to have strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with individuals in distress.
- Experience with using Microsoft Excel, customer service skills, and answering calls in a professional manner.
- Organisational skills.
- Experienced in conducting risk and needs-based assessments, with the aid of interpreters where necessary, to determine eligibility against specific criteria.
- Have good communication and presentation skills.
The working hours would be Monday to Friday 9.00 am to 5.00pm but may require some availability out of hours if required.
