Job Summary
We are seeking an organised, proactive, and people-focused Recruitment Officer to join our HR team. The Recruitment Officer will be responsible for managing end-to-end recruitment processes across all campuses, supporting academic and administrative hiring, and ensuring a smooth candidate experience aligned with our organisational values.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage the full recruitment lifecycle for academic and non-academic roles.
- Draft and publish job advertisements across various platforms.
- Source and engage candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, and internal networks.
- Screen CVs and shortlist candidates based on job criteria.
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring managers and panel members.
- Liaise with campus centre managers to confirm staffing requirements and vacancies.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date recruitment records and documentation.
- Communicate professionally with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Draft and issue offer letters and coordinate onboarding activities in collaboration with HR.
- Ensure compliance with safeguarding and safer recruitment procedures.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment strategies and processes.
Person Specification
Essential:
- Proven experience in a recruitment, HR, or administrative role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and applicant tracking systems.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively across departments.
- High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail.
Desirable:
- Experience in education sector recruitment.
- Familiarity with safeguarding practices and DBS processes.
- CIPD qualification or working towards it.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £25,400.00-£30,000.00 per year
