Job summary
This is an exciting role front of house, working closely with clinical and non clinical colleagues to ensure our patients receive the highest standard of care.
The role requires someone who has a great level of attention to detail and good organisational skills for managing in a busy environment. Excellent communication and customer service skills are essential for dealing with colleagues, patients and families.
The needs of the service user will be the utmost priority. The principle of high quality customer care is at the heart of this role.
Main duties, tasks & skills required
The post holder will be required to arrive patients for their outpatient appointments via various computer booking systems. Liaise with clinicians and internal staff on a daily basis.
The post holder will be the initial point of contact for incoming calls and will be responsible for ensuring the reception area is tidy & well organised at all times.
The post holder will deal with a variety of people of all ages which can on occasion be challenging.
