Job Overview
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the friendly and committed team at Aurora Wellbeing as a Receptionist. We're looking for two part-time individuals to job share this important role, each working 15 hours per week, with some overlapping hours.
As the first point of contact for clients, visitors, volunteers, and staff, your role will be vital in creating a warm, welcoming, and professional environment at our centre in Worksop.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all visitors and callers to the centre with warmth, professionalism, and sensitivity
- Manage daily reception operations, including handling exercise and event bookings
- Operate the main telephone line, taking accurate messages and directing enquiries as appropriate
- Handle cash and card transactions, maintain and reconcile petty cash
- Update and manage spreadsheets and booking systems
- Support with general administrative duties and stock replenishment
- Help maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming reception and waiting area
- Provide guidance and support to reception volunteers
What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for candidates with:
- Experience in a busy reception or administrative environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Confident IT skills (including Microsoft Office and spreadsheets)
- A helpful, professional and proactive approach
- Strong attention to detail, particularly when handling bookings or financial tasks
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to upholding Aurora’s values of compassion, respect, and inclusivity
