Job Title: Receptionist
Receptionist required for busy NHS/mixed dental practice in Cumbernauld to join our hard-working, friendly team.
This is a part time role for 3 days per week, although this can be discussed at interview.
Salary dependant on experience.
A summary of the role is described below.
Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls
- Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendars
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, and faxing
- Assist with data entry and maintaining patient records
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and packages
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders when necessary
- Provide administrative support to staff as needed
- Transcribe documents and correspondence accurately
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with Software of Excellence is preferred (training will be provided if necessary)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all work tasks
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Experience working in a medical office or dental receptionist role is preferred.
