Part Time Receptionist/Administrator
We are currently looking for an experienced part time receptionist with excellent administration skills, who is confident enough to work on their own initiative to look after the office and handle customer check-ins on this small, beautifully situated, family run holiday park just outside Settle in Yorkshire.
The usual pattern of work will be Sunday and Monday. With hours as detailed below:
1st March – 1st Nov Sat 9 – 5pm Sun 9-4 Mon - Fri 9-5
1st Nov - 14th Jan Sat 9 – 4pm Sun 9-3 Mon – Fri 9-3
14th Jan - 1st Mar Sat 9 – 4pm Sun 9-3 Mon - Fri 9-1
The successful candidate will also be required to cover holidays and sick days as required, so flexibility will be important.
The ideal candidate should be able to provide a warm welcome and excellent customer service as they will be the first point of contact when our caravan owners and holidaymakers arrive on the park.
Duties will include:
- Providing office cover and dealing with telephone and face to face enquiries/park bookings.
- Liasing with staff to ensure that if any issues arise, they are dealt with promptly and passed to the appropriate person.
- Be computer literate and confident using word, excel, outlook and relevant booking systems for holidaymakers.
- Be responsible for the end of day accounting.
- Report and log any maintenance issues or owner enquiries to relevant team members.
- Ensure the diary is kept up to date and fellow staff members are made aware of anything of note in a timely manner.
- Greet and assist the holidaymakers at check in with a friendly and helpful manner.
- Responding to Holiday Home sales enquiries and seasonal touring enquiries.
- Ensure the office is fully stocked and clean with the bins emptied and floor mopped each night.
- When required wash and iron the bedding for the holiday apartment.

Experience and Qualifications
- Good computer skills and experience in using Microsoft Office
- Experience in customer facing positions
