We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced and efficient corporate receptionist who is ready to move into a role with additional facility management and tenant event responsibilities. You will relish a challenge and be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support to the off-site Building Manager.
You will deliver an exemplary tenant and visitor experience, understanding the importance of creating a community vibe in the building. You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this busy and varied role.
Hours and salary
£12,963.60 per annum 8.00am – 5.00pm Thursday and Friday No weekends but flexibility is required to provide cover for holidays and sickness.
Key Responsibilities
Managing reception- Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambience reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations
- Ensure a warm, friendly and professional welcome – you will become the ‘face of the building’
- Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes
- Manage deliveries including couriers and post
The building
- Confidently manage maintenance contractors and ensure any building issues are reported and managed to resolution.
- Develop strong working relationships with the local letting agents and support them by ensuring any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings
- Submit weekly reports on activity to key stakeholders
- Undertake general administration (as required)
Tenant experience and community engagement
- Develop a monthly e-newsletter for tenants (as required)
- Work collaboratively with your job share to organise pop up events for the building, helping to drive a sense of community and aid enjoyment in the workplace (as required)
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience of working in a high end, front of house reception role delivering impeccable customer service
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent Microsoft Office and confident social media / App user
- Confident and creative with a good eye for detail.
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner
