Are you passionate about early years education and creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for young children? Abbey School is looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team and support the development and education of children aged 4 to 7 years.
What We’re Looking For:
- A relevant Level 3 childcare qualification (minimum)
- Minimum 2 years’ experience working within an Early Years or School setting
- Strong understanding of child development and the EYFS curriculum
- Confident, caring and professional communicator
- A team player with creativity, flexibility, and a positive approach
Desirable (but not essential):

- Experience supporting children with SEND
- Safeguarding and Paediatric First Aid training

Important Information:

Location: Abbey School, St Marychurch, Torquay, TQ1 4PR
Hours: 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday either term time or all year round
Salary: £19,722.92 (term time) to £24,082.50 (all year round)
