This is an opportunity to join our Passive works team on a permanent basis and be part of the team created to inspected Front Entry doors on Annual basis. This team work to ensure we meet the current requirements and have clear processes in place.

The planner will be responsible for allocating work to the team and booking works in with residents from site.

The team is looking for a professional and experienced Work Planner to be part of the new team and to bring new ideas into the Passive Fire team.

You will take care of arranging follow on works to ensure efficient service, Logging data and notes on the computer system to ensure smooth handover and communication. Passing on relevant information to all stakeholders. Prioritising and scheduling emergency jobs so you must have excellent organisational skills. Monitoring of emails and adhering to SLAs escalating any issues to the supervisor or Passive works manager.

The successful applicant will have an opportunity to play a part in delivering a high impact service to our residents and working on reducing our overdue actions.

You will be responsible for coordinating the planning and scheduling of the Passive Technicians across the L&Q estate, specifically relating to Fire Safety works. Managing their diaries and timetables to ensure that jobs are completed in a timely manner. Residents receive a satisfactory service and that maintenance issues are resolved in line with service level agreements.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Passive Fire Safety Team and will report into the Passive works supervisor.

Other duties include;

  • Liaising with Fire safety officers, Supervisors, Surveyors, Technicians and Residents
  • Arranging follow on works
  • Logging of data and notes on the computer system
  • Scheduling of emergency jobs
  • Linking into action raised from the FRA team and working alongside the team to close of the actions
  • Escalation of issues to the Passive works manager
  • Accurate data entry skills, effective decision making and an ability to prioritise the workload are essential.

To be successful in this role, you will need the ability to work in a busy fast paced environment, possess excellent administration skills and be computer literate.

It is also essential to have excellent customer service, communication, and organisational skills. DRS/Opti-time experience is essential.

Repairs and Maintenance knowledge is essential as well as front line Customer Service experience.
