As a result of our success, we are seeking a Fire Door Joiner to join the team.
Summary
With responsibility to complete remedials of fire doors, with zero defects, within timescales.. Following all aspects of Health & Safety requirements on site. The successful candidate will be on site completing works and have extensive knowledge of all aspects of fire doors.
Key Responsibilities
- Fire door inspections
- Fire Door remedials to FIRAS standards.
- Fire Door maintenance works.
- Manage work load on site to complete works on time to meet the requirements of individual contracts.
- Control individual contract progress towards completion.
- Ensure all necessary contract documentation / reports are accurate and produced on time via BORIS software
- Ensure all the relevant certificates are in place and compliance is up to date.
Key skills
- Ability to work and meet deadlines.
- Problem solving and time management skills are essential.
- Producing plans and liaising with on site personnel.
- Must have a minimum of 5 years experience in a joinery.
- A strong knowledge of Fire Doors and FIRAS.
- Holds the relevant qualifications in FIRAS.
- Must be an enthusiastic self-starter with confident communications skills.
- Confident IT skills.
- NVQ level 2 in Joinery.
- CSCS card.
- Must be flexible in hours of work and travel and hold a Full UK Driving Licence.
