Reablement Co-ordinator
Reablement teams are part of the wider Maximising Independence Service. We are looking to recruit proactive and dynamic individuals to join us, as Reablement Coordinators in either the Mid Reablement START team or the countywide Community Reablement Team.
Do your values match ours? We think it is important to:
- Promote the principles of choice and control
- Take a personalised approach to supporting people
- Provide care and support with dignity and respect
- Take pride in the quality of the work we do
Do you think you can make a positive contribution to our fast paced and exciting service? If so, we would love to hear from you!
We pride ourselves in providing high levels of customer service in order to achieve positive outcomes and quality services for people accessing Reablement.
The Reablement Co-ordinator post is a hybrid role, working from home and in the office. We have 3 vacancies to recruit to, two within the Mid Team (Mansfield and Ashfield) based at Lawn View House, one in the Countywide Reablement Team based at Sir john Robinson Way.
You will work in a supportive team. You will use electronic systems. You will ensure the efficient rostering of a workforce of Reablement Workers and Senior Reablement Workers. You will manage and plan capacity and coordinate resources which is vital for maximising the effective running of the service. You will receive and process new requests into the service in a timely manner.
You will need to have excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and IT skills, being able to remain calm under pressure whilst being able to prioritise multiple demands: working collaboratively with a variety of professionals and departments to ensure the best outcomes for the people we support and timely progress through their reablement journey.
In return, you will be supported through regular team meetings and supervision to develop your skills, build expertise, and take advantage of the extensive training opportunities to advance your career within the Reablement service and NCC.
For an informal discussion about the post, please contact Nicola Vincent on 0115 80422009 e-mail [email protected] or Zaya Osborne on 0115 8044310 e-mail [email protected]
Disabled applicants who meet the essential shortlisting requirements will be guaranteed an interview. A job share scheme is available for all full-time posts: both permanent and temporary, unless otherwise stated. We are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and vulnerable adults and we expect all staff to share this commitment and undergo appropriate checks.
