Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Level 3 Practitioner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children in a nursery setting. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to manage a team, and a commitment to providing high-quality childcare. As a Level 3 Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and well-being of children in our care.
Duties
- Deliver high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5 years, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Plan and implement engaging activities that promote children's learning and development in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
- Manage daily routines and ensure that the nursery environment is clean, safe, and stimulating for all children.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns.
- Support and mentor junior staff members, fostering a positive team environment.
- Maintain accurate records of children's development and progress, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Drive initiatives that enhance the nursery's reputation within the community.
Skills
- Strong leadership abilities to guide and inspire a team of childcare practitioners.
- Experience working with children in a nursery or childcare setting is essential.
- In-depth knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with proficiency in English.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
- A valid driving licence is preferred but not essential for this role.
