Job Overview
We are seeking a window and door inspector to carry out detailed inspections of both our PVC and Aluminium range of quality windows and doors.
You will be part of a small team of inspectors and a keen eye for detail is essential. You will be required to work on your own initiative and be able to communicate with your colleagues about any issues you may find during the quality control process and ensure these issues are resolved prior to the product leaving the factory.
Responsibilities
· Carry out thorough visual inspections
· Ensure all mechanical parts are in working order
· Wrapping and packaging
· Taking inspection photographs to back up any complaints
Experience
· Someone with previous experience in the window and door industry would be preferred, but training can be given
· Excellent communication skills
. A reasonable level of IT skills is preferred
· A good eye for detail
· Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials as needed
. Strong understanding of quality assurance principles and practices
Hours of work Monday to Thursday 07.30-16.30 and Friday 07.30 – 14.00
