A&B glass are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented New Build Window Fitter to join our dynamic team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the precise and efficient installation of windows in our new build developments.
Responsibilities:
- Window Installation:
- Execute the installation of windows in new build projects according to specifications and industry standards.
-Ensure accuracy in measurements and alignment during the installation process.
- Material Handling:
- Safely handle and transport window materials to construction sites.
- Verify the quality and condition of materials upon delivery.
- Collaboration:
- Work closely with our contracts manger, site supervisor, and other team members to meet project deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with the team to ensure a smooth and coordinated workflow.
- Safety Compliance:
- Adhere to and promote strict safety protocols on construction sites to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Window Fitter in the context of new build construction.
- In-depth knowledge of window installation techniques, tools, and materials.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Full driving licence
- CSCS card
- Proven ability to fix and maintain all windows and doors ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
- Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges during installations.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift and man-oeuvre heavy window materials.
Price work,
Minimum of £130 per day
New van supplied with a fuel card
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £42,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
