Overview
We are seeking a skilled PSV Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and be adept at diagnosing and repairing a variety of Coaches & Buses. This role is essential for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our fleet, contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Conduct routine maintenance on vehicles ie safety / PMI Inspections.
- Operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot electrical systems.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on vehicles
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects.
Experience
- Proven experience in PSV / HGV vehicle mechanics essential.
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and welding equipment advantage.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail are required.
