About the Role:
As our Project Administrator, you'll be the linchpin between our operations, sales, and engineering teams. You’ll provide essential administrative support for ongoing projects while also contributing to smooth running of project collation including invoicing and reconciliation helping to ensure accurate, competitive, and profitable bids for new work and existing customers
This is a hands on role that requires excellent communication, planning, and problem-solving skills perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, technical environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide day to day administrative support across multiple shipbuilding and repair projects including liaising with both suppliers and customers
- Prepare, track, and update project documentation, timelines, and progress reports project managing ensuring invoicing etc., in a timely manner
- Collaborate with the estimating team to compile accurate cost estimates and quotations
- Assist in bid preparation and customer proposals
- Liaise with suppliers and subcontractors for pricing and lead times
- Monitoring and updating project budgets, schedules, variances to work and resource allocations
- Coordinate meetings, take minutes, and follow up on action items
- Support compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
What We’re Looking For:
- Strong communication skills and an ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Preferably experienced in project administration, ideally in a marine or industrial environment or similar
- Exposure to or experience in sales estimating or cost analysis
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and project management software e.g. Microsoft project
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams
