Justteachers are seeking a teaching assistant to join a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Halifax, supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about education and wants to make a real difference in children's learning journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and differentiated lessons
- Work with small groups and individual pupils to boost learning outcomes
- Assist in classroom management and behaviour support
- Help prepare and maintain a purposeful learning environment
- Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff
- Support pupils with varying needs, ensuring equal access to learning
- Uphold safeguarding policies and report concerns appropriately
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a primary school setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A nurturing and enthusiastic approach to supporting children
- Understanding of the primary curriculum and inclusive education
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA Certificate) desirable
- Enhanced DBS or willingness to apply for one
- Legal right to work in the UK
