Job Title: Primary School Cleaner

Location: Deepdale Community Primary School, St Stephens Road, Deepdale, Preston, PR1 6TD ( Located behind Preston N.E Football Club )

Working Hours and Pay:

• Hours: 10 hours per week
• Pay: £12.80 per hour
• Contract: 43-week
• 39 week term time / 3 week shut down period
• Annual Leave: Must be taken during periods of school closure only
• Working Pattern: One shift (Monday to Friday)
• Afternoon Shift: 3:30 PM – 5.30 PM

Job Overview

We are looking for a reliable and flexible cleaner to join our dedicated cleaning team at Deepdale Primary School. This role involves working as part of a team to maintain high standards of cleanliness throughout the school premises.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean classrooms, toilets, communal areas, and office spaces
• Use cleaning chemicals, materials, and equipment safely and effectively (training provided)
• Follow health and safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness standards in line with school expectations

Requirements

• Commitment to high standards of cleaning and hygiene
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Flexibility and reliability
• Enhanced DBS certificate (either currently held or willingness to apply)
• Subject to an online search in line with Keeping Children Safe in Education 2023 as part of the shortlisting process
