Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled individual to join our team as a butcher. This role is essential in ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and safety within our food factory environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production, and butchery, contributing to the overall success of our production operations.
Responsibilities
- Ensure all food preparation areas are clean, organised, and compliant with food safety regulations.
- Assist in butchery tasks, including cutting, trimming, and preparing meat products.
- Collaborate with supervisory staff to maintain an efficient workflow during production periods.
- Monitor food quality during preparation to ensure consistency and excellence.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of food safety practices.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food production.
- Strong understanding of food safety regulations and best practices.
- Experience in butchery is essential.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
