Retail Butcher – Full Time
Location: Bolton.
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Hours: Full-time – typically includes Saturdays until around 2pm. Closed Sundays & 1 Weekday off.
About Us
Fraser's is a family-run butcher’s shop with a strong reputation for quality and traditional service. We’re looking for a skilled Retail Butcher to join our team and serve our local community.
The Role
- Serving customers at the counter with friendly, professional service
- Cutting and preparing meat to order
- Keeping the counter clean, stocked, and well-presented
- Preparing products such as sausages, burgers, kebabs, and marinated cuts
- Following food hygiene and safety standards
- Helping with stock rotation and general shop duties
What We’re Looking For
- Qualified butcher or proven experience in retail butchery
- Strong knife skills and knowledge of traditional cuts
- Friendly and customer-focused attitude
- Reliable, hardworking, and a good team player
- Understanding of food hygiene (HACCP knowledge an advantage)
- Must be available to work Saturdays (shop closes around 2pm).
