Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests at our pool facilities. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain cleanliness, enforce pool rules, and provide excellent customer service to enhance the overall experience for our visitors.
Due to working with children, all candidates will require a DBS and background check.
Our location is remote so own transport is required.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure a safe environment for all guests.
- Enforce pool rules and regulations, addressing any violations promptly and professionally.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including the deck, furniture, and surrounding grounds.
- Assist guests with inquiries regarding pool facilities and services.
- Conduct regular checks on water quality and report any issues to management.
- Provide first aid assistance when necessary and respond to emergencies effectively.
- Set up and take down pool equipment as required.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak times.
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role or in hospitality is preferred but not essential.
- Strong communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Knowledge of basic first aid and CPR is advantageous; training may be provided for the right candidate.
- A keen eye for detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety.
