Plumbing Trade Counter Assistant
Hours 7.30am - 7.30pm Monday to Friday and alternate Saturdays 6.30am - 3.30pm
This is an excellent opportunity for a Plumbing Trade Counter Assistant to join our busy branch, where we supply a wide range of plumbing and building materials.
As a Trade Counter Assistant, you'll be the first point of contact for our customers, offering expert product advice, handling transactions, and helping to ensure the trade counter runs smoothly and efficiently.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with plumbing product inquiries and provide expert advice.
- Process orders accurately, handle invoicing, and manage payments efficiently.
- Replenish stock on the shop floor and participate in regular stock counts.
- Assist with deliveries to and from the store.
- Handle telephone inquiries effectively, maintaining clear communication with customers and colleagues.
- Respond positively and promptly to customer needs.
Requirements:
- Solid understanding of plumbing materials is essential.
- Good interpersonal skills, confident and able to approach customers.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a busy team.
- The ability to prioritise responsibilities under pressure and be self-motivated.
