*Plater/Fabricator Wanted*
We're a well-established fabrication company with over 45 years of experience, seeking experienced plater/fabricators to join our team.
Job Details
- *Industry:* Medium/heavy fabrications (bridges, staircases, gantries)
- *Working hours:* Monday to Thursday, 6am - 4:30pm (4-day week)
- *Pay:* Up to £17.00/hour (dependent on experience)
Responsibilities
- Fabricate and develop bespoke steel structures
- Work from engineering drawings and specifications
- Use various workshop tools, plant, and machinery
- Weld to high quality standards
- Measure and mark out materials for cutting and shaping
Requirements
- Experienced plater or fabricator
- Confident MIG welder
- Ability to operate fabrication machinery
- Experience in heavy steel industry
- Ability to work from engineering drawings
