We are a well-established kitchen and bedroom manufacturing business based in Fermanagh, Northern Ireland. With a strong reputation for quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction, we specialise in designing and manufacturing bespoke kitchens and bedrooms. As a growing company, we are seeking a Placement Student for a managerial role to support our operations and contribute to our continued success.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in Managing Operations: Collaborate with the management team to oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing business. This includes coordinating production schedules, ensuring efficient workflow, and monitoring quality control processes.

2. Project Management: Support project management activities, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating manufacturing projects. Ensure projects are delivered within specified timelines and meet quality standards.

3. Customer Relationship Management: Interact with clients to understand their requirements, provide product information, and address any inquiries or concerns. Maintain strong customer relationships to enhance satisfaction and promote repeat business.

4. Supply Chain Coordination: Assist in managing the supply chain by liaising with suppliers, monitoring inventory levels, and ensuring timely delivery of materials. Help optimise procurement processes to maximise efficiency and minimise costs.

5. Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect and analyse data related to production, sales, and customer feedback. Prepare reports and presentations to provide insights into key performance indicators and assist in decision-making processes.

6. Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the manufacturing operations. Propose and implement innovative strategies to enhance productivity, quality, and overall efficiency.

7. Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, sales, and installation, to ensure seamless coordination and effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.

8. Stay Updated: Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and new technologies related to kitchen and bedroom manufacturing. Share insights and recommendations to drive continuous improvement within the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Business Management, Operations Management, or a related field.

- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with internal teams and external stakeholders professionally.

- Analytical mindset with proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.

- Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications.

- Knowledge or interest in kitchen and bedroom manufacturing industry is a plus.

- Self-motivated and adaptable, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

- Ability to work independently and in a team environment, while demonstrating a proactive and collaborative approach.
