Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to our established recipes and customer preferences.
- Ensure all ingredients are fresh, properly stored, and utilised efficiently to minimise waste.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
- Assist in meal preparation for other menu items as needed, contributing to overall kitchen operations.
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
- Monitor cooking times and temperatures to ensure optimal quality of food served.
- Help train new kitchen staff on pizza preparation techniques and kitchen protocols.
Skills
- Proven experience as a cook in a restaurant setting, preferably with a focus on pizza or Italian cuisine.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques related to meal preparation.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
