PIZZA MAKER AT PAULIE’S (NEW OPENING)
We are looking for a full-time PIZZA MAKER to join our team for our upcoming new opening and make delicious New York-style pizza.
As Pizza Maker, you’ll work in the heart of the kitchen to prepare and cook our signature pies and slices, keeping the pace high, the standards sharp, and the vibe distinctly NYC.
To thrive in this role, you’ll need experience making pizza in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and a passion for high-quality ingredients and proper technique.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Stretch, top, and bake: Hand-stretch house-proofed dough, load toppings to spec, and cook pies
- Run the line: Keep tickets moving during rushes, slice/box pies, and communicate with FOH so orders land hot and on time
- Prep like a pro, label and rotate stock (FIFO)
- Quality control: Check oven temps, bake times, and topping weights; record hot-hold temperatures and waste logs
- Clean as you go: Maintain a spotless station, deep-clean oven/tools at close, and follow daily HACCP checklists
- Team play: Jump on prep, dish, or expo when needed and help train new hires on pizza station best practice
REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum 1 year experience as a pizza chef or cook in a high-volume kitchen
- Skilled in dough handling and pizza prep (NY-style experience a plus)
- Strong kitchen hygiene and food safety awareness
- Positive attitude and team spirit
- Able to stay calm and focused under pressure
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and peak service times
- Right to work in the UK

Pay: £14.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 – 48 per week
