Our business is a co-op of farmers suppling locally sourced fruit, vegetables and many other goods to commercial retail and wholesale.
Your role would be to work within the pack house alongside other members of staff; liaising with them to ensure that whilst efficiency and quality control are paramount, hygiene and health and safety are constantly being monitored and enforced. A basic knowledge of fruit & veg identification is required as quality control is taken very seriously.
This will be a full time role (Sunday-Friday) for around 6-8 hours a night. Start date is ASAP.
Your week will start on the Sunday at 09:30pm and finishing around 4am , weighing and packing produce alongside your team members as they come through. You will be in constant communication with other members of staff with any questions, queries or changes.
This is a small but growing business with a good team ethos and has exciting scope for further employment development. We are looking for someone who wants a long term position within the company. The team is enthusiastic, positive and willing; you will be expected to be all of these and have a good attitude. MUST BE LOCAL
The candidate must be fit, switched on, not one to shy away from hard work and most importantly a be a nice person!
