Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Photographer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for visual storytelling and have the ability to capture compelling images that resonate with our audience. This role requires proficiency in various photography techniques, as well as experience in photo editing and social media management. The Photographer will work closely with our marketing and editorial teams to produce high-quality content that aligns with our brand vision.
Duties
- Capture high-quality photographs for various projects, including events, products, and editorial content.
- Edit and retouch images using Adobe Creative Suite, including Adobe Photoshop and Capture One, to ensure the highest standards of quality.
- Collaborate with team members to develop creative concepts and visual narratives that effectively communicate our message.
- Manage social media accounts by curating and posting engaging photographic content that enhances brand visibility.
- Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continually improve photography skills and adapt to new technologies.
- Assist in the planning and execution of photoshoots, including location scouting and coordinating logistics.
- Maintain an organised archive of photographs for easy access and reference.
Qualifications
Proven experience in photography with a strong portfolio showcasing a range of styles and subjects.
- Proficiency in photo editing software such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, and other tools within the Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent understanding of composition, lighting, and colour theory in photography.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
- Experience in journalism or storytelling through imagery is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with social media management practices to effectively promote photographic content online.
- A keen eye for detail, creativity, and the ability to meet deadlines while managing multiple projects.
