We are looking for an organised and motivated registered pharmacy technician to join our cancer pharmacy team until the end of May 2026. You will assist the pharmacists and senior pharmacy technicians in providing patient focussed quality pharmaceutical care to cancer patients receiving chemotherapy in Forth Valley Royal Hospital. This post will rotate through different aspects pharmacy service provision to cancer patients, including aseptic preparation of anti- cancer medicines, dispensing of pre-filled IV and oral medicines as well as supporting the oncology clinic and inpatient areas with cancer medicines related tasks.

As a cancer care pharmacy technician, you would help to maintain the high quality service offered to cancer patients in NHS Forth Valley and optimise healthcare resources by minimising medicines wastage. You will also work closely with members of the multi-disciplinary team in the oncology clinic, particularly the chemotherapy nursing team, to ensure that patients have the medicines that they require at the correct time.

These posts offer an excellent opportunity to develop training and skills in a supportive environment as a fully integrated member of the cancer pharmacy team.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout the area of service delivery is essential for this post.

You will participate in weekend and public holiday rotas.
