Hingley Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a qualified dispensing assistant to join our friendly, experienced team at our busy community pharmacy in Cradley Heath. The business is family owned and provides a large range of healthcare services to the local community. We pride ourselves on the professional, safe and efficient patient-centred care we provide. The position would suit a qualified pharmacy assistant (GPhC recognised NVQ2 in dispensing services).
The pharmacy is a true community pharmacy with a strong customer focus provided by a willing, highly-motivated team of pharmacist, dispensers and counter assistant who offer a variety of treatments for health conditions, a comprehensive retail selection as well as a full dispensing service.
This position will be focused on the safe, timely, and efficient provision of medication to our valued patients. The work offers an absorbing role in a productive, energetic environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, with a focus on MDS preparation.
- Provide exceptional patient care by answering inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage.
- Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
- Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed professionals.
- Uphold safety and hygiene standards within the pharmacy environment.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
