Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will have a set working pattern but will also be required to cover additional shifts for holidays and sickness as needed to meet business and patient needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing and dispensing prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
- Ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels.
- Dispensing medicines into Monitored Dosage Systems (MDS).
- Resolving queries by liaising with GP surgeries and patients via telephone.
Requirements:
- UK Pharmacy Dispensing qualification to NVQ Level 2 or above.
- Hardworking, self-motivated, and able to work meticulously to a high standard.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment both independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills and a willingness to go the extra mile to assist patients.
- Proficiency in computer use; training on the PMR system will be provided.
