We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. Responsibilities
- Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of medication orders and manage inventory levels to ensure availability of essential drugs.
- Provide patient care by answering queries regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage requirements.
- Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.
- Maintain accurate records of dispensed medications and assist in the management of prescription documentation.
- Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
Skills
- Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and pharmaceutical terminology.
- Excellent patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and effective communication with patients.
- Attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively within a busy pharmacy setting.
