Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will support the pharmacy staff in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. You will be responsible for assisting with medication checking off (delivery), managing inventory, and providing excellent customer service to patients. Advising patients on minor ailments under supervision of the pharmacist
Responsibilities
- Maintain an organised inventory of medications and supplies, ensuring stock levels are adequate.
- Handle patient inquiries and provide information regarding medications and pharmacy services.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies.
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe working environment within the pharmacy.
Experience
- Previous experience
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and medication administration processes.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided.
